Bukas sa Payatas

“Kurakot na gobyerno, trapong pulitiko,
Pangakong napako, makasariling pamumuno,”
Walang ibang makita o masabi kundi kabulukan-
ng mga lider ng barangay,ng lungsod, ng bayan.

Pero laman ng binggo-han bago pa malamnan ang tiyan,
Bida na ng tsismisan bago sariling bahay’y malinisan,
Maagap, sa pilaha’y masikap, mapa-DSWD o simbahan,
Walang grasyang pinalalampas- umaraw man o umulan.

Mga anak di makatuntong sa kolehiyo kasi mahirap kayo,
Mahal ang matrikula, takot mag-ulam ng asin, suka o tuyo,
Pangarap mo, kabataan, natuldukan- di pa man nasimulan,
Sa kaibigan,bisyo o inuman,naghanap ng masasandigan.

Pang-amoy mo’y manhid gabundok man basurang nakapaligid,
Bingi sa mga tiyang gutom, sa salit’ang ubo, sa singhot ng mga kapatid,
Bulag sa nagsisiksikang paaralan, pamilihan, sakayan, pasyalan,
Panong nalimtan ang kinamulatan? Ba’t di asaming iba ang magisnan?
