Do not let wisdom and understanding out of your sight, preserve sound judgment and discretion; they will be life for you, an ornament to grace your neck. Then you will go on your way in safety, and your foot will not stumble.
“When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.”
Sweet sleep, I desire.. as everyone does and only Proverbs seem to have the cure no Prozac, Cymbalta or Zyprexa can match. (They’re meds for mad minds,by the way.) Above anything else, a restful conscience makes one lie in peace.
Tonight is one of the hardest nights I had to bear. Don’t shed a tear, though, it’s not something you should mourn. I just feel trapped in a situation I was not supposed to be in, had I been more honest with myself. But we don’t live for ourselves alone. We have “others”, “loveones”, “families”, “communities”, oh, don’t let me go on.
While boarding bus 42 around 6pm after a quick dinner at Sumo Sushi & Bento (don’t try any of their Sushi sandwich, it’s weirdly fried!), I was astounded that it was heading to the airport. Alas, old mistaken path rewind! But I was smarter to halt halfway to the airport, got on bus 33, then realized its route leads to heavy traffic. I checked out at City Ctr., then sat on the gutter along with many of the people pooped by the long day at work. I beamed at the sight of C19.
I felt like crumbling as I was walking towards our house..our room. Bid my partner a virtual good night. Have a peaceful slumber.. tomorrow means less sorrows..as we’ve had enough now.
